Time-Lapse Construction Chronicles: Celebrating Milestones and Achievements
With every passing day, the face of Dubai is becoming
unrecognizable. Evolving past its traditional heritage, this Venice
of the Gulf is embracing modernization by the second and hinting at
a sophisticated future. Within years, its geography is transforming,
the only thing making it recognizable is time-lapse photography and
videography.
Timelapse photography has been around for a while now, and its
purposes are diversifying with time. From its first-ever use in
understanding the sprint of the steeds to its ever-increasing use in
construction monitoring and
construction timelapse photography, both tools and techniques have advanced over time. With its help,
construction work has become more manageable. The result is that
remote monitoring is now commonplace, and unveiling architectural
marvels, an everyday possibility. And we at Timelapse ME are proud
to be guiding these construction
time-lapse cameras
in hovering over these man-made wonders.
On the note of inaugurating architectural masterpieces, Dubai has
left no stone unturned. The gasping intricacies and the jaw-dropping
frameworks of building structures unveiled almost every other day
have bewitched each one of us. The only thing more amazing than
these enthralling structures is their process of rise and spread.
How an empty space transforms into extraordinary human settlements
is enough to keep anyone wondering. Normally, human patience would
run out if we, as an audience, were to stare and watch these massive
architectures develop. Yet, simultaneously, watching their evolution
in timelapse would be enticing. This is what we at Timelapse ME in
our practice have brought to you.
Our timelapse camera grants you a bird's eye view of not only its
evolution but its final reveal as well. In fact, of special mention
are Sharjah—House of Wisdom (2019-2020), Expo Dubai (2016-2021), One
Za'abeel, the longest cantilever building (2015-2023), Atlantis—the
Royal Dubai, The most ultra-luxury experimental resort in the World
2016-2022, and the one-of-a-kind, Museum of the Future (2017-2021),
DGDA—the lands of kings and heroes, and a city made to change, NEOM.
It has been an incredible and honorable journey being the eyes and
ears of the project managers, engineers, and earnest audience in
recording these masterpieces evolve. The sheer dedication and
persistence in recording these structures rise brick by brick has
been an equally memorable adventure. A gap of years compressed in a
matter of minutes achieved with our powerful cameras and efficient
professionals is a feather to our cap that we straighten out every
day! Their design, orientation, span, and uniqueness have been
anything but ordinary. And getting it all on camera has once again
stressed the beauty of the job that we do!
Whether it was filming the engineers and workers powerlifting the
8500 tonnes of steel, 100 m above ground, to construct the longest
cantilever building of an astounding royal ambient residence. Or
recording the brilliant intellect and precision in constructing
Museum Of the Future's torus with an elliptical void. The extreme
dedication and resilience that went into recording and portraying
these wonders of Dubai are nothing short of being esteemed. As Dubai
was busy constructing futuristic spaces, fancy residences, and
palatial resorts, with a time-lapse photography camera in our hand,
we played our role in the background in filming what would be later
remembered in the books of history.
With our presence already felt in Asia, the Middle East, and the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), our expansion has been on an upward
curve. Our client base has also widened as we catered to a range of
projects. Top of mention are IBM, Emaar, Expo Dubai UAE, Kerzner,
and 60+ other Middle East-based popular clients. Even the audience
of earnest viewers keeps showering us with their love for magical
and transcendental time-lapse visualization. The appreciation and
awards we received over the years has been overwhelming, too. A few
among them have been the
GulfCapital SME Award, Dubai 100 SME Award, and the Rate SME
Award. We even presented the Expo 2020's progress to His Highness Sheikh
Muhammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, during the gala
6-months-long event in Dubai.
As Dubai and the rest of the world touch new heights of
architectural marvels, we are glad our lenses capture their ascent.
For those who didn't get to witness these fascinating constructions
and for those who wish to add these magnificent places to their
journal someday, we offer a peek into what could be.
What could be a visit to remember...what could be a dream come
true!
